Keto involves eating more fat and less carbs. I am ditching bread, pasta, soda and sugar. My hunger will effect my meals. There will be days when I won't want to eat as much. The beginning of a new "diet", Low carb, high fat... resembles the Atkins diet but uses much more fat intake. Trust me on this day I prayed to God, for HIM to help me not have a heart attack, seriously!

 2 wieners with 2 tablespoons of chili and mustard and cheese. I was missing the hot dog buns!

 A cheeseburger, my first bread of the day, no fries. Which I really wanted, but didn't budge.








Here's a quick scoop on why I haven't been keeping my journal up to date... lazy, yup... plain and simple. I've been trying to concentrate on eating this way and that way and trying to keep the weight from creeping back up, but to no avail.

Banana oatmeal topped with half of a KIND bar (apricot and nuts). Thought I take my breakfast on the go so that I wouldn't be tempted by the buttered toast at work.

Proud of myself. I made lunch the night before and packed chicken stir fry (red and green bell pepper and onion) with brown rice. My sides: cucumbers with lemon and grapes. I deserve to do a cheesy dance, but I'll contain myself. I didn't feel tired and bloated. Those are good signs.





Dinner
I had leftovers: meatloaf and a bake potato with butter, sour cream and cheese. Thanks Mom for supplying the potatoes!

Homemade enchiladas, rice and beans. Last nights meal prep was definitely a big plus. Fast and easy dinner tonight. Yeah, haven't gone out to eat at a fast food restaurant. Another BIG PLUS!

I woke up with a get-it-together moment this morning. I started my day off with oatmeal. 1 cup of almond milk, 1/2 cups of old fashion rolled oats, 1 small smashed banana, 2 tablespoons of sliver almonds. Filling!






Work Lunch
I had 1 1/2chicken salad sandwich with French fries, condiment: ketchup.








Dinner with Mom
Mom made a tuna sandwich on French bread and Frito's. Delish! First time having this and enjoyed it.








I'm getting a head start on tomorrow's dinner and trying hard not to become an over enthusiastic taste tester.

I had 2 pieces of toast, one with grape jelly and the other with just butter. You guessed it, I ate them before I could remember my picture. So what you see is my co-worker's toast topped with pecan butter.






Lunch
I had Subway. 6 inch turkey and ham on wheat with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and mustard. A bag of sour cream and onion potato chips. Forgot my own picture... I also had leftover dessert; 4 layer delight dessert from yesterday. Even better the next day.






Dinner with the In-laws
My sweet in-laws took the family to Orlando's Italian Restaurant for an early birthday dinner for my husband's 47th birthday tomorrow. Super delicious. Can you believe I brought home leftovers? I did, I can truthfully say, because I took the picture of my leftovers, because I left my phone at home. Doh!

I attempted a healthy breakfast. A whole wheat pita with PB2 spread topped with banana slices. In the end I only ate about half.

I had Chick-fil-a for lunch with the girls at work. 12 piece chicken bites and waffle fries. I ate it before I remembered my picture, this may become a problem.








Dessert
A absolute delicious 4 layer delight dessert made by my boss and BFF. Sinfully yummy!









Dinner
I made tostadas for tonight. Corn tortillas, with homemade re-fried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Delicious. Almost a vegetarian dinner except I used some bacon grease. Not healthy after all.

I work late on Mondays and my Mother picked up the grandkid from school for me and usually has dinner ready or bought. Pepperoni Pizza for tonight's dinner. 3 to be exact.

 
Grade F for the day... wth, Mondays are just bad. Balance and learning to say "No thanks, I already ate" would be a good start.

Breakfast Of Champs
Pancakes, all in it's delicious butter goodness with a side of crispy BACON! Excuse the fine china. I know this breakfast doesn't go in a healthy diet. Used 1 cup of Bisquick mix, 1/2 cup almond milk and one egg for my batter. For my bacon, I cut the package in half and stored the unused portion back in the fridge. I'll use any trick to convince my mind I am eating BIG. I could have done without so much butter and pancake syrup. Served 2.


 
Lunch Date
3 crispy tacos from Taco Villa and a small coke, plus a refill. We met the hubby for a quick lunch before he headed back on the road again.







Dinner
A chopped BBQ sandwich with hot BBQ sauce and a big bag of chips. I, also ate gizzards, but I didn't want to gross out anyone, so no picture. Your welcome!







Terrible meal choices. First problem I can point out. I should have cooked at home. Second problem I notice is I could have ate less, much less, and skip the overindulgence.
